The COST Action CA21155 HISTRATE held an ad-hoc meeting of Working Groups 3–6 on Ischia, Italy, on 24–26 August 2026, where the team worked together on a Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network proposal built on the Action’s results.
A project evaluator from the TU Delft grant support office joined online for two sessions: first to give detailed feedback on the current version, and later for a question-and-answer session once the team had reworked the text. Over the three days the participants improved the overall aim and the research objectives, and sharpened the descriptions of the individual PhD topics. They also reviewed the dissemination and exploitation plans and identified the main risks and how to address them.
The meeting closed with a discussion of other funding opportunities for the HISTRATE network and a clear plan for the next version of the proposal.
